We rent enduro bikes, motorcycles, moped scooters, fully automatic scooters and riding gear
to independent (self guided) riders and expats working in Hanoi on
daily or monthly basis. We provide 90% fully guided tours and only 10%
rentals (unguided trips) so we are likely booked out quite early
before. All rentals must be reserved and paid before you pick up the
bike(s). We have not offered one-way rentals yet as
there is only one office in Hanoi. Many clients asked if we could
deliver or collect bike(s) in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City - HCMC) and rode
the same route like "Top Gear Vietnam Special" show and we are sorry to
say "NO". All rentals start and end in Hanoi. The following are the
scooters for long-term rental customers (rates advertised are monthly
and with limited mileage). These scooters are good for riding in the
cities only, not suitable for long distance touring. Most of them are
new bikes with low mileage and we try to upgrade all the bikes to the
latest available models so we both benefit from them.
We
specialize in Vietnam, especially the Northern part of the country.
Vietnam has attracted keen interests from world riders after the BBC's
"Top Gear Vietnam Special" show on UK television on December 28th
2008. However, we don't ride the same route as we focus more on
mountain roads and short-cuts and are lucky enough to have better
bikes. To provide our customers with more extensions and flexibility,
we cooperate with partners across the country and in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and China who use big road/trail bikes and/or classic Vespa scooters.
We keep our group sizes
very small and we do need special logistics for this type of adventure.
We are not offering easy-riders or motorcycle-taxi-driver rides, we do
target serious riders only. Our prices reflect the quality of service and high standards that our customers expect. As a way to say "thank you", we won't ask deposit for returning and regular customers and you definitely get a discount
on your next tour(s). Deposit is required for first time customers only
and if you want to check out how trustworthy we are, contact these references, a very reliable source you can rely on.
Some
of our customers wanted to know what they need to bring for a
motorcycle ride in Vietnam, we have updated a list of things you need
on a typical ride here and you can decide for yourself what you actually need.
We
are 100% Vietnamese owned and run tour operator and we believe in
putting the money back into the Vietnamese community by helping them to
develop through some projects. For more details on why choosing us from
a handful of motorcycle tour operators, click here. We are located behind a busy main street in the Old Quarter of Hanoi and you can print our office map which makes it much easier to find us.
If you want to explore our whole site faster and easier, take a look at the sitemap. We believe you will find most of the answers to your questions right online (FAQs).
Purchasing
an insurance policy can take a long time and is a real headache.
BaoViet - Vietnam National Insurance Company - is selling BaoViet
Medicare Travel Plan from mid-2008 and we can help you to buy their
package here. If you want to buy insurance from a foreign company, here are some handy links:

!!! Be advised.
One very important thing: we would recommend that you check on your
countries visa requirements and if required apply for a visa in your
country of residence before your arrival in Vietnam. You may however be
able to get it at Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh airport, but not possible if you
arrive by land. The customs will show you a travel agent at the airport
who then "sells" you a visa for 135.00 USD (One hundred thirty five
United States Dollars). You need 4 passport photos or you can have them
for two USD. The whole process takes 45 minutes. Since January 2008, we
have been providing visa approval letter
service (20.00 USD/person for the letter) and all you have to do are
send us some information, wait to receive the letter (usually after
three working days), then show the letter and get the stamp on arrival
at one of Vietnam's three international airports in Hanoi, Danang and
Ho Chi Minh City (25.00 USD/person for the stamp).
